Keep DK and/or AJ Brown?

Recommended Posts

10 team half ppr, 1sf pick in 3 keeper league. Your 3 keepers are your first 3 draft picks. So if I keep 3 players and another team only keeps 2, they get one pick ahead of me (even though I'm first) and then the "real" draft starts and I pick 1st and we go on as usual. Hope that makes sense. It's kinda like if I only keep 1 player I get two draft picks for the keepers I threw back, then the draft starts. I am keeping Najee but wondering about DK and AJ Brown. Thoughts?

Wilson

Najee/Dobbins/Javontae/Conner/Hines

Metcalf/AJB/Julio/Cooks/MT/Moore/Mooney

Rams D

Matt Gay

Should I make a trade for an RB2?

Thanks guys. It autofilled the post for me and I forgot to delete the part a out trading for an RB2. This is my lineup going into the draft and I can keep 0-3 players. When I drafted them doesn't matter (you just get a pick at the beginning of the draft for every keeper slot you don't use).

I'd keep Harris and see what other players have been put back into the pool.  Worse case is you get back players you already had.  Likely someone gets dropped worth more than the players you mentioned.

Thank you. One team has Cook, Kamara, Kupp, and Chase.

What sort of players are likely to be available in the draft from the other teams?

I'm keeping Najee and Javontae (not sure why no one else mentioned him as an option here).

The 3rd keeper really comes down to who might be getting tossed back into the draft.

What draft slot does the team with Cook/Kamara/Kupp/Chase have? I'd try work a deal with him for Kupp/Chase - swap picks in the 1st for one of those WRs - you get to keep the WR, he gets to move up in the draft at the cost of a player he wasn't keeping anyway (though if I was him the WRs are for sure keeps).

Well I'm first in the draft so I'll get the best player available unless one team doesn't keep anyone (assuming I only keep 1). He's 5th.

Yes, I know your first overall - but how many teams are likely to keep less than 3? Less than 2 if you keep 2 (I assume the keeper rounds are not serpentine)? Trying to get a gauge of what sort of player is likely to be available to you at the pick, and if there is any real value to you to not keep 3.

For the drop from 1 to 5, I'd for sure see if the other owner would be willing to deal Chase or Kupp. I'd offer other moves too if necessary, but if you could secure one of them as an additional keeper at the cost of a drop of a few spots in a couple of rounds, seems well worth it given the other options we are aware of (thus the importance of having a gauge of who you expect to be available in the draft)

Thank you. And not sure - I haven't done my pre-dradt research yet. Will update this when I do.
