irish
https://www.jetnation.com/2022/08/12/zachs-season-sacked-jets-qb-likely-done-for-year-with-torn-acl/ Ah, preseason football! We'll see if Dr. David Chao, just watching video of the injury, is right or if Saleh's initial comments, based on what on field doctors and trainers felt of the "ACL supposedly being intact" plays out to be true. Gotta think this makes Jimmy G a Jet all the way, from his first cigarette, to his last dying day. Edited August 13, 2022 by irish
Big John
The Jets don't believe it is an ACL: https://twitter.com/connor_j_hughes/status/1558293340130607105?s=10&t=Ao4J1VYevod-SifpI-ie3A
millworkguy
And I dropped m white yesterday afternoon to make room for a trade. Chances are I would never had started him, but I hate tossing away value
League_Champion
That's horrible but on a lighter side at least they'll have the #1 pick in a QB heavy draft.
League_Champion
Sources: #Jets believe they’ve avoided worst-case scenario with Zach Wilson’s knee. Genuine belief it’s not season-ending. MRI to confirm their feelings. The hope is that they are looking at weeks, not year. That is feeling as l leaving Philly. Again: MRI final confirmation

purplemonster
Damn that was near best case scenario. 2-4 weeks. That's nice for us fantasy folks shouldnt make too much difference but still a slight downgrade

I thought the same thing, so looked it up. https://www.urmc.rochester.edu/encyclopedia/content.aspx?contenttypeid=134&contentid=514 What causes a bone bruise? Injury of any kind can cause a bone bruise. Sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, or falls from a height can cause them. Twisting injuries—such as those that cause joint sprains—can also cause a bone bruise.
