Ah, preseason football!  We'll see if Dr. David Chao, just watching video of the injury, is right or if Saleh's initial comments, based on what on field doctors and trainers felt of the "ACL supposedly being intact" plays out to be true.

Gotta think this makes Jimmy G a Jet all the way, from his first cigarette, to his last dying day.

How do you bruise a bone when he wasn't touched?

I thought the same thing, so looked it up.

What causes a bone bruise?

Injury of any kind can cause a bone bruise. Sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, or falls from a height can cause them. Twisting injuries—such as those that cause joint sprains—can also cause a bone bruise.

Damn that was near best case scenario. 2-4 weeks. That's nice for us fantasy folks shouldnt make too much difference but still a slight downgrade

Great outcome, could've been so much worse.
