Kelce in mid-second round? - 1/2 pt PPR

Recommended Posts

Pitts won't be there after the 3rd round in most cases. And yeah I do think Kelce will produce well this year, even w/o Tyreek there they'll lean on Kelce as the most dependable receiver they have. His YPC might go down because they'll be able to focus more on him and bracket him with a linebacker and safety, but his catches should stay about the same IMO

I think there are going to be a lot of sleepers this yr at TE. Depending on your starting requirements, taking Kelce mid-second could be fine or it could leave you too thin at RB and WR. Barring injury, he's going to be a top-2 TE again, but personally I don't like taking TEs that early.

If you decide to take him there, make sure you wait on QB.

I'm usually in the camp of passing on the Kelce because I don't like the opportunity cost of giving up the chance to get a top-tier RB or WR to take him (or Andrews for that matter).  I think this is especially true if you take Kupp or JJeff in the first.  But...that is also because I am not a fan of the Zero RB strategy AND I've never played 10-man leagues, so take my advice with a grain of salt.

But, no matter the format, I think reasonable value can be had farther down the draft board for TE.
