Football Fever
In a ppr league could you argue taking Jefferson over JT with the 1st overall pick. This league you only have to start 1 RB.
tdybaz
For sure. Is it a full PPR league? How many WRs do you start? I mean, if you only start 1 RB, and you start 3 WRs and it's full PPR, hell yeah I'd go with JJ
Football Fever
So yes, it’s a full ppr league and the starting lineup can be 1-3 RBs and 2-4 WRs. No TE required. So if I start 1 RB, I can start 4 WRs (TEs included)
tdybaz
Hell yeah man, I'd take either JJ or Kupp or Chase with that pick in a full PPR league and able to start so many WRs!
Football Fever
Kupp is my keeper, so I would Pair him up with Jefferson
Big Country
I'd still take JT (especially since you have Kupp) then slam that batch of WRs at the 2/3 turn (Higgins, AJ Brown, Pittman, Keenan, Deebo, etc.) As much as I love JJ (and it took me quite a while to come to the conclusion I did, so it's not a slam dunk), I think that's the way to play it to maximize your return. JT is pretty much the only set it and forget it top end RB without any real questions or injury history. When you only need one, may as well get that one. This ⬆️ As much as I love Jefferson the move is JT. It's a different story if you didn't have Kupp. Starting any draft with Kupp/JT isn't the worst thing in the World. Football Fever
Would any of you guys consider taking Andrew’s or Kelce at the 2/3 turn to go with a Higgins or AJ because in this league there is no TE position, they are considered receivers (WR- flex)? Big Country
Depends on your projections. If you think Kelce/Andrews will outscore those WRs, then by all means draft them there over the WR. I personally do not have them outscoring those WRs, but it is certainly within the range of outcomes that they could.
