Gap22
So I am in a 10 team standard scoring league. 2 keepers at last years round value. I inherited this team (which was a last place team) and won the ship going away despite keeping McCaffrey in the first. I'll probably be picking last, but we do a NBA type lottery for draft position. I am keeping Jonathan Taylor in the 5th regardless (duh). I can keep McCaffrey in the 1st, Justin Jefferson in the 2nd, Josh Allen in the 4th, Deebo in the 8th, or Cam Akers in the last round since he was undrafted and I grabbed him off the wire before the season ended. What say you? Edited August 31, 2022 by Gap22 typo

tdybaz
JT and JJ. You have good values later, but JJ is just too good (especially in their new Rams-esque offense)
Big Country
I'm torn on JJ or Deebo to go with JT. JJ you are getting a 1 round discount which is good value, but man, a 6 round discount (maybe 5 round when accounting for 10 teams) on Deebo is enticing, especially since you'll still have your top 4 selections. I guess I'd lean JJ, but it is not an easy decision. When do you find out your draft order? Before or after keepers are declared? Gap22
I'll know my spot before keepers lock. I'm thinking the same way. Having the RB1 and WR1 at a big discount is pretty solid. If I somehow luck into an earlier pick, I might go with Deebo.

This is how I was leaning even though it also means that technically JJ is cheaper as your giving up a later 2nd round pick. It just depends how early that 1st rounder is and who you expect to be available to you so you can figure out if that 1st round pick/JJ/8th round pick or if 1st round pick/2nd round pick/Deebo provides more value
JumpingJehosaphat
I'd lean towards keeping Deebo but ... who do you project to be the 20 keepers? I mean, there's a possibility JJ might fall back to you. Edited August 31, 2022 by JumpingJehosaphat
Gap22
Update, I am picking 10 out of 10. So, if I keep JJ, I get to pick at 1.10 but lose 2.1 . Whereas, if I keep McCaffrey ( and Taylor ), I have the presumptive two best RBs and still get my 2.1 pick. Or, I can keep Deebo in the 8th, and pick at 1.10 and 2.1, but I doubt I get either McCaffrey or JJ. I think I should keep McCaffrey. I may be able to snag JJ or Chase at 2.
Basket018
Do you know how who everyone is keeping now? how many picks are being taken with round 1 if? And someome isn’t keeping Jamaar Chase?

I may be able to snag JJ or Chase at 2.1 Unless everyone is using their 1st on keepers, how would JJ or Chase possibly drop that far realistically? I think that keeping JJ with JT is the play here. Now, can you trade picks? If you can, find someone that plans to use their 1st round pick on a keeper and offer to trade 1st and 2nd round picks. You use a later 2nd to keep JJ and get an earlier 1st round pick, that other guy uses a later 1st round pick to keep their guy and gets an earlier 2nd round pick. Win-Win for both of you. If you can't find that, then still try move down in the 2nd for improvements later on.
