bberri5
My 10 team league does 6 pts per passing TD so QBs are slightly more valuable than in a standard scoring setup. That being said there are usually enough of the top 1-2 tiers of QBs to go around but for some reason this year a few of the teams took two QBs earlier than I expected. I ended up with Carr and Lance and I'm feeling a bit uneasy about it. I'm curious what some of your opinions are on how these two guys will do this year. In theory I can see Carr having one of his best seasons ever given how strong his WR/TE group is and a lack of a great ground game. Lance is a total wildcard, no idea what to expect there. What do you guys/gals think? Edited August 31, 2022 by bberri5
Big Country
Carr could be this year's Stafford. Lance has a chance at being 2019 Lamar Jackson That's not to mean that either scenario is "likely", but both are well within the reasonable range of outcomes. I'd be very comfortable with them, especially since, if other teams were taking 2 QBs early, you should have been able to capitalize and end up with stronger RBs and WRs
League_Champion
Very different QBs. One is all upside (Lance) and the other is high floor (Carr). That's a great combo to own. I've drafted the same in a few leagues
bberri5
We did a salary cap draft so my team is... QB - Carr, Lance RB - CMC, Javonte Williams, Eli Mitchell, Michael Carter, Melvin Gordon WR - Justin Jefferson, DJ Moore, Marquise Brown, Robert Woods TE - Hockenson

PSMike
Carr owner here and my thinking is that he's being undervalued this year given the Adams acquisition. I wouldn't get TOO carried away in terms of what you can expect, but with Adams, a healthy Waller and Renfrow, he has the potential to be a top 10 qb this year imo. Kind of Kirk Cousins on steroids maybe? lol Agree with others on he and Lance being a good pairing. Best of luck
Butkus
With a very solid squad all around, you did very well! Frankly, I'd be really happy with that pairing of QBs as it allows you early in season to play matchups, perhaps lean Carr early and see how Lance evolves. If Lance starts hitting on all the hype, then you're there to capitalize while still having a great backup/trade fodder or more. GREAT position to be in! bberri5
Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. Ideally Carr/Lance produces QB5-QB10 numbers. I think the rest of my squad compares favorably to the other teams in my league so just need my QBs to keep pace. Best of luck this year to you all
