Strange that he hasn't been signed. Then again, Joe Schobert (who's the same age as Martinez) was cast off a couple of times in the past year, too. I hit up the Googlez and saw there was some chatter on SI.com about him fitting with the Lions. Anzalone is JAG and the rookie Rodiguez is still raw. I'm somewhat surprised that the win-now Chargers haven't come knockin'. Drue Tranquill is solid but Martinez has been an absolute beast for quite some time. Hard to imagine something isn't up with his recovery process. He was a tackling machine just recently and now league wide interest is lukewarm at best.
