bearsfan1
I'm in a 16 team PPR keeper league. Keeping Henry, Allen and Burrow. We can start either 3 RB's and 1 WR, 3 WR's and 1 RB, or two at each position. My next pick is 3rd round, 32nd overall pick. I figure best RB available may be AJ Dillon or Jacobs. Best WR's, DJ Moore, Sutton, Diontae Johnson, McLauren, Williams, etc. I really like Dillon, but am wondering if he would be a reach at this spot? In a league this size, RB's dry up quickly, and with Henry, at his age, and injury from last year, thinking this may be a safe bet? On other hand, one of those WR's would be more at their value here. If I take a WR, thinking may be able to get a Hunt, Pollar, Stevenson, Edmunds on my next pick at 62? Which direction should I go???
The Badfinger
I have drafted Dillon in both my leagues and hope to do it again tomorrow in my third league. But...it was in the 7th round, so while I like him, 32 is just too much. Not a Jacobs fan either but he is probably the pick if you go with RB at 32 (cannot believe I advocate picking him at all). I would roll with a WR and then come back to RB. All that said, in a big league like, you will end up reaching a couple times to get the players you want, just no way around that. seh0872
This is an interesting starting roster, and a real challenging league with 16-teams. You said "your next pick". What of rounds 1 and 2? I'm also confused how the 32nd overall pick is third round...if a 16-team league, 32 would be 2.16 if snake. Do you mean you have the 33rd pick (3.01)? Either way, the 32nd pick is a reach for Dillon, but it really depends on who else is kept in your league. If Dillon or Jacobs is really your choice, I'm going Hero RB with Henry and picking a WR at that spot ... out of that group I'd go D.J. Moore. I'd probably stick to WR the next round as well and stay out of the RB dead zone. Jeudy or Bateman could be available to you. You could then come back to RB with someone like Rhamondre Stevenson, Rashaad depending on whether your draft is standard or snake. If snake, then someone like CEH, Dameon Pierce, or Kareem Hunt could be there, or could elect to wait on RB2 and pick up a top QB. As you have pick 62, that would be 4.14, so I'm a little confused how your draft is structured. Edited September 3, 2022 by seh0872
