Draft Opinion - What do you all think?

Hey all,

Just finished my draft, and was wondering what y'all think?

12 man league, full PPR, was 12th pick:

QB: Herbert and Rodgers

RB: Fournette, Montgomery, Cordarrelle Patterson, Rhamondre Stevenson

WR: Davante Adams, Allen Robinson, Allen Lazard, Skyy Moore, Isaiah Mckenzie

TE: Friermuth and Albert Okwuegbunam

K: Yoo

D/ST: Rams

I'm thinking about trading Rodgers for Carr to stack with Davante. Yay or Nay?

My draft didn't go as I had hoped, so I sympathize with any buyers remorse.

But yours is ok;; Average I would say.

A few what if's either way could make or break you.

QB=Fine

RB=serviceable, if Monty is MOnty and Stevenson takes a leap you could be more than average

WR: No issues there

TE: I am not personally high on Muth but certainly have two guys who should be ok

Yes, I actually would be tempted to trade Rodgers for Carr, though I doubt you need either with Herbert

Hey man, thanks a bunch. Yea, that was my reaction to it too. Just decent, and it sucked being the last pick. But luckily I get the #1 waiver claim, so not too upset. Here's to a good season for both of us

I was the opposiute, #1 pick.

It was comical I seemed to get sniped every round and had to adjust and I came away feeling meh.

We'll see though, it's the waiver wire and luck that make or break us.

Ugh.  I'm picking 12th this year too, and I, for one, HATE this position--especially given my league is a 3WR one.  I struggle to get a top team off the turn.

I'll assume you are 2RB/2WR and a Flex and give you draft a "B" -- good, but not spectacular.  This is because I'm not personally a fan of Montgomery in Chicago, and would hate to rely on him as RB2.  I do like Stevenson as RB3, and think he'll have a great upside year.  Patterson I can't decide whether he'll return value or not.

As for WRs, how good this team is depends on whether you think ARob will breakout, and if the rookies will live up to their hype.  Personally, I think you have a bit too much risk here, but if fortune favors you, you'll have an excess of WRs as trade-bait.  If not, then you'll be clamoring to upgrade this position.

Oh, and as for the trade, if you can trade Rodgers for Carr, it would be worth doing it for the stack as Carr-Adams is a better stack than Rodgers-Lazard.  Hebert and Carr have a pretty good complimentary schedule, except at playoff time, and better than Rodgers, who faces Buffalo during Herbert's bye.

Bro, I hate when that happens. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth, but yes, waiver wire and a bit of lady luck goes a long way for this season.

Appreciate the feedback! Yea, there were some moments where I made a boneheaded decision, and others, going back and forth on who to prioritize.

Hopefully you'll have a better result for your draft. Let me know how it goes!

I sent the trade request, and the other guy accepted! And I agree, Carr-Adams stacking just makes so much more sense. Hoping these two will push me to the playoffs.
