OK, my turn to seek opinions about my draft

12-team PPR - 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 1DST, 1PK - 8 on the bench - No trading allowed

This is a DataForceFantasy Contender league where 4 teams from this league enter a playoff with teams from 3 other leagues (16 teams total, single elimination).

I drafted on the turn (1.12 / 2.01)

POS - Player (Pick)

QB - Jackson (5.01), Lawrence (16.01)

RB - Zeke (4.01), Jacobs (6.01), Gordon (10.01), McKissic (11.12), Jam. Williams (12.01), Dar. Williams (17.12)

WR - Adams (1.12), Diggs (2.01), DJ Moore (3.12) E. Moore (7.12), Toney (9.12), Dotson (14.01)

TE - Goedert (8.01), Gesicki (13.12)

DST - Saints (15.12)

PK - Prater (18.01)

Unless Najee, Cook or Chase fell to 1.12, I was all set to take Adams and Diggs in the first and see what came to me at 3.12.  I struggled over Etienne or Zeke at 4.01.  At 5.12, entering the RB dead zone, Jacobs was there, but I had never considered him.  RBs were running a little faster than in my mocks, so taking him was a bit of a gamble lest I find myself with James Cook or Damien Harris as my RB2.  Instead of Jacobs, I could have taken Gibson, or foregone the 2nd RB for Michael Thomas or George Kittle.

Two other places I struggled were Melvin Gordon vs. Nyheim Hines at 10.01, and after taking Jamaal Williams at12.01 (my RB5), I thought I should have opted for Skyy Moore instead, though he would have been my WR6.

OK, so let me have it.  Is this a winning team?

I would try to package Zeke and Elijah Moore to possibly improve your rb1. Other than that, the team looks strong.

That's the rub of this league.  Trading is disallowed.  It's all in the draft.  As a 3 WR league, I intentionally went WR heavy in the first rounds, knowing my RB1 would really be an RB2.  My rationale is that the point difference running 4 WRs each week will offset the loss of RB points and a single injury can shift the RB production.  Unfortunately, I wasn't able to snag the handcuff RBs I wanted like Mattison or Herbert.
