seh0872
OK, one more draft before football starts! This was was rescheduled to tomorrow. 14-team PPR Superflex Keeper League. Everyone must keep 4. My attempts to trade my excess keepers went nowhere. Either the trades were declines without counteroffers or were ignored outright. Even the #$%^! guy who kept a KICKER ignored my trade. I might have to consider dropping out of this league next year. Anyway, based on the advice of this forum I forewent keeping Cam Akers or Rashod Bateman in lieu of Kirk Cousins, so my four keepers are D'Andre Swift, Javonte Williams, AJ Brown, and Kirk Cousins. I like the upside of Cousins, but there is one small problem -- the QBs that will most likely be available to me at 1.10 are Kyler Murray and Jalen Hurts. But I can't take Hurts as he has the same bye as Cousins. So, I have to plan this draft assuming that Murray gets taken first round, waiting on QB until Round 2 or 3, and frankly, even after mocking a few, I'm thinking this is the way to go anyway, picking up someone like Rodgers or Tannehill who will compliment Cousins' schedule. For reference all the following QBs have been kept: Lamar, Herbert, Mahomes, Wilson, Prescott, Lance, Carr, and both Daniel and Mac Jones (and of course Cousins). Allen will most certainly go before 1.10, and as stated, I suspect Murray will as well. Because I can't take Hurts, I'd have to reach for Brady or Burrow. What seems better is to take BPA (RB or WR), grabbing someone like Diggs or Barkley and either taking Rodgers with pick 2.05 or even waiting until 3rd round to take Tannehill (this would allow me to likely grab Pitts, Keenan Allen, or Breece Hall with the 2.05 pick). If I lose out on Tannehill, I'll be stuck with Goff or Wentz as QB2 with Cousins as QB1. What's the best play?
