A.J.
I'm trying not to over-react after one week, but am at a loss with this team. Goose eggs for three of my starters (I know Sutton's currently playing, but not looking good). It's a deep 14-player PPR league, but this year we lowered bench spots to 4 in the hopes of getting some good waiver pick-ups. Should I make any drops? Who to target on waiver with good season potential? Really at a loss here. Thanks for any help!

A.J.
I know. Would you recommend not making any changes? Perhaps dropping Moore or Gage? With this dismal performance, I end up with the first waiver claim.
Basket018
Gage might see the field more with Godwin injury. So I hold off dropping Gage. Moore you could drop…. Whose on the wire??
A.J.
Top waiver options. Would it be advantageous to go after Taysom Hill as my TE?
stevegrab
I also have Akers, he was one of my 5 keepers and expected to be a starter at RB. But I went with Jacobs and Conner instead, and lucked out. I sure hope the Rams play better going forward, and Akers is more involved in the game plan. You had 2 productive RBs on your bench, so I wouldn't panic too much at that position. Kmet was my starting TE and very disappointed with no production, he had one target, but then it was a sloppy game with limited passing. I think Hill may be a good play at TE, and am considering adding him myself. But I also have Michael Thomas and not sure I'd want to be using both of them on a regular basis (Thomas was on the bench behind Adams, Pittman & Jeudy but will get consideration as a starter going forward.) By the way, your bench is very short, I know ours is long (we also start 9, with a 3rd WR no flex) with 9 spots but 4 seems very short. How can you even cover bye weeks without dropping all your depth.
Finn5033
You’re fine. Bench Akers and move Dillon into his spot. Bench Lamb for now and move Sutton to his spot. And put Carter in your flex. might be worth it to drop Guage and pick up Julio Edited September 13, 2022 by Finn5033

This year the bench spots were lowered to four because the waiver wire was really bleak.

Your max players rostered (if everybody is using their IR slot) is 196, ours (with 9 starters and 9 bench for 12 teams) is 216, just 20 more players.

As for Julio, I agree he's a worthwhile target if Godwin is out for extended time, as I'd trust that he'll see more action than Gage. You could target one of the other WRs on the waiver wire like Duvernay or Samuel, but I think they come with more risk than Julio. I'd also consider Robby Anderson (go figure!) and Chark. If you really want to go RB, the Burkhead seems the obvious choice.
