seh0872
Well, ahem ... my strategy of taking two 2nd tier WRs (Diggs and Adams) with my first two picks in a 3WR redraft league have left me with a lackluster RB corps. Now down 0-1 with a pending dogfight coming for my second match, I'm already getting a bit worried about being able to compete in this high-money league (top prize: $4800). Here's the kicker -- its a no-trade league with a deep bench (8 slots). Any waiver moves you see that I should absolutely make? FAAB. Available on the wire: RB: J. Warren, I. Spiller, D. Hilliard, C.Evans, D.Johnson, J. McKinnon, Z. MossWR: C. Samuel, C. Davis, P. Campbell, N. Westbrook-Ikhine, K. Phillips, D. Duvernay, S. WatkinsTE: A. Okwuegbunam, N. Fant, T. Higbee, A. Hooper, T. tdybaz
With the no-trade clause in effect I would think you want to be as proactive and forward-thinking as you can... so try to acquire J. Warren if you can, but the right time to grab him was last week before the games. Most of the options at RB you suggest are boring (yay 9 for 32 yards); you need to reach and hold onto potential dynamite, not a wet match. Spiller is potentially someone to acquire, but at the moment it's Ekeler and Joshua Kelley ahead of him. I would look at Tyrion Davis-Price and/or Jordan Mason in the SF backfield; I like Mason's game a bit more for their offense, but both could be beneficial if/when Jeff Wilson falls on his face. Your WRs are great, don't worry about acquiring more IMO. Goedert is your stud starting TE, so I would drop Gesicki and pick up another potential breakout player either at RB or another backup TE (if you insist on having one) in Hill. Montana is da Man
Tdybaz said it well. You need rb help and not wr help. Drop gesicki for Warren or mason
