Julio think u are?
Would you make this trade? I would worry about the loss of depth, especially losing arguably my best RB. But Adam is a stud. 3WR league, team in sig (bottom 4 players not includes as they're waiver claims)
tdybaz
I would not do that. It's a good trade in and of itself, but you start 3 WRs and your WR depth is already strained after Kupp & Davis. Meanwhile, giving up Javonte would cripple your RB depth (Montgomery already saw the lowest snap percentage in almost two years this past Sunday, and w/ the new coaching staff and Herbert's skillset matching up well with the new offense, I don't think it's an outlier). Agreed, don't do it. Plus it's unclear how hurt Najee Harris is...
seh0872
Nope. See my team (2nd one in my signature) as yours would look very similar with two top WRs (albeit mine are Adams and Diggs) but weak at RB in a 3WR league. I was 9 out of 12 in scoring in week one, now at 0-1, and staring down a tough matchup in week 2. If my RBs don't recover, I'm in for a long season. While you'd have Kupp/Adams, which is stronger than my Diggs/Adams, you'd be weaker at WR3 than me (with DJ Moore). Javonte is an excellent RB2 (borderline RB1), but then you'd have ... nothing. I just don't trust Montgomery, and you have no real depth.
dirtyharry319
Normally I would say yes as I always want to get the best payer as a result of the trade and D Adams is the best player of the 3 that are involved...he will score as many points by himself as the combination of D Williams and G Davis will BUT....your RB depth is not good with the loss of N Harris, the poor production/use of Monty and the lingering injury issues for Dobbins. I would not do this trade
Julio think u are?
Thanks everyone, I agree! I was the highest scorer in my league week 1, and I think that led me to believe I had a stronger team than I do, with more depth. I really like trading a couple of my better performing week 1 players for a stud, however in this case I agree it would lead to trouble very quickly down the line. I'm going to stay put for now and hope my RBs have a better week.
