AL87
Hey all, I'm a bit weak at WR, so was wondering if anyone would recommend trying to trade to shore up at the position. I'm pretty strong at RB, so I could probably afford to lose one of them. Half PPR league. Start: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, K, Def Roster: QB - Lamar RB - Taylor, Barkley, Edmonds, Patterson, Hines WR - Metcalf, Waddle, Kirk, Dotson, Burks TE - Kelce K - Butker Def - Broncos IR - Brian Robinson Would you trade someone like Patterson, who had a great week 1, for a WR2 type? Or go bigger and try to trade Barkley for a WR1? Or just stand pat and hold the roster as is? Who do you think I could get for a Patterson or a Barkley? Thanks! tdybaz
I was thinking the same, trading Patterson and maybe even pairing him with a WR (Dotson? he won't get 2 TDs every week) to procure a high WR2/low WR1 if possible. I would hang onto Barkley.
stevegrab
Keep in mind anytime you are offering a team two players for one that they must now drop somebody from there roster. Are both the players you are offering better than their worst player at those positions? Also when looking for advice information about league size can be important. At first I thought maybe it was fewer than 12, because Taylor/Barkley/Kelce even Lamar are all pretty high on most draft lists. I suspect you waited on WR and now see the need to upgrade. I would not trade Barkley, I'd try to trade Patterson for a WR, somebody ranked in the 15-25 range at the position seems reasonable.

Thanks - yeah ideally wanted to hang onto Barkley too! 2 minutes ago, stevegrab said: Keep in mind anytime you are offering a team two players for one that they must now drop somebody from there roster. Thank you - yeah I forgot to mention it's 12 teams!
Montana is da Man
I would try and trade the hot hand, ask for the wr you want and the player they'd drop
League_Champion
Feel daring? Barkley for Michael Pittman. Do it before Barkley pops a hammy and costs you half a season.
Butkus
I keep Barkley - I think he's on a mission this year. Anyone can pop a hammy. CPat your best trade bait right now and if you can't get a good 1:1, Iike the idea of bundling him with a WR, perhaps not going after a 2 for 1 but strong #2WR + hadncuff type back for your starting RB and lower end receiver
