AO
My playoff life depends on a W this week.....with that said....... PHI @ PORTIS CHI @ F. TAYLOR S. JACKSON @ CAR THANKS
AbitaPhd
Portis and Taylor - I've got similar choices (Taylor, Portis, and Pittman in another league).
Marauders11
I'd bench Portis against Philly IF Steve Jackson is 100% healthy. He hurt his knee this past week so that bears watching.
bioya
I'd say Taylor for sure. Chicago can be run on and he's been pretty consistent the last few weeks. Philly held Portis in check a couple weeks ago, I believe 17 carries for 37yds? I know Portis is coming off a monster game, but it was against a dilapidated NYG team. IF Jackson is healthy and starts - I think you start him over Portis.
Hondop
Yeah, Portis was very promising in that last game, but it's hard to depend on him after this season if it is a must win. Taylor should be good. He was allright last week against the Steelers run D, and I don't think Chicago is as good as them. They keep saying you can run on Carolina, and I have no reason to doubt it, but it all comes down to Jackson's Knee. Martz may not like to run, but it that's the only thing working, we can hope he'll roll with it, especially with Bulger likely out this week. If Jackson's not healthy though, you have to go with Portis.

giantsfan
I'd go Portis and Taylor also. As good as Jackson was this past week he had no TD's and like 120 yards rushing at home v a bad SF D. I don't see him getting better against a tougher D on the road. I like Portis and Taylor.
