detlef
Well that about says it. I'm out of it in my 4 player keeper league and a contender needs a WR badly but is stacked at RB. Do you make the trade? The players I have that could warrant keeping right now: A Green D Davis T Holt C Johnson R Wayne (especially if Harrison doesn't resign) N Davenport (if he ends up somewhere else) Duce Staley Basically the question is, will JJ be rated higher than Holt next year? Keep in mind that WRs can matter more since we can start 2RB/2WR or 1RB/3WR but not 3RB/1WR.

The injuries can be mitigated somewhat with backups, but I think it's easier to grab a new WR (even if you do it week to week) and plug him in than it is to find a top notch RB. Could you possibly trade a RB if you have too many? Don't you think you could trade Jones or somebody else later on for a quality WR? So, I'd like to get Jones. Picking the 4 players is tough. Chad Johnson finally looks pretty consistent again. I guess Palmer is coming around. But Wayne has looked good too. I assume you don't have to announce your keepers until sometime next year? I think we'll need to revisit it then.

I'd rather have J.Jones if I had to choose, but don't start too early.
detlef
Sorry, I guess I needed to be more clear. There is a trade before me. The guy wants Holt and is offering Jones. He's only even willing to make the trade because he wants a WR for the play-offs. If I wait, there is no deal. Thus, the delimma. Do I want J Jones or T Holt as one of my possible keepers going into next year. Essentially this: Look into your crystal ball. Whom do you see ranked higher for next year's draft? I think I would do the deal.
