in need of a 3rd wr.

i'm 9-4(tied for 1st) the last place team 5-8 is offering stokely in a trade.

i was going to propose a trade of k.jones for stokely

my wr's are:d.mason,c.johnson,m.clayton,n.burleson,d.givens,r.curry,and

t.pinkston.

my rb's are: s.alexander,e.james,d.rhodes,and k.jones.

i was going to drop r.curry to pickup l.johnson on the ww.

would stokely be a big enough of a upgrade to warrant trade k.jones.

thanks for the advice and i will look at your post.

Stokley's good, but he has been really inconsistent this year, even in the last few weeks (7 yds two weeks ago) he has a lot of potential, but I'm not sure I like him much more than your other guys

How many recievers do you start? I guess if you picked up Johnson you could do the move, but Mason Johnson Clayton is a pretty good and solid trio (although Clayton's been off as of late) and I'd hate to be short of RBs.

if you really think you need an explosive reciever though, go for it.

Just my two cents, but posting stuff like this is going a step too far. How do you know the Stokley owner wants Jones? If he agrees in principle, then perhaps you throw this post up there. Stokley is the SIXTH-RANKED WR. Jones just had one good game. If I were the Stokley owner and I had two decent RBs, I wouldn't even listen to your offer. But hey, I'll answer your question: heck yeah, if you can get Stokley for Jones, go for it. In my opinion, he would be your #2 or perhaps #1 WR... not your #3.

he was a holmes owner. he is short at rb staley, george,s.morris, and dunn.

he still his a long shot at making the playoffs so any help at rb would do wonders for his team. his wr's are driver, morton, bruce, and stokely.

sorry i forgot to mention that.

all i wanted to know was if that was a share trade to offer.

Well then that makes sense. I just see alot of "should I offer Domanick Rhodes to the Edge owner for Javon Walker" posts. :D

He's hurtin' at RB, but could probably get by with Dunn and Staley. But I'd rather have Jones, yeah. He could go with Driver and Bruce and be OK. Tough call, good luck. :D
