tfoos
I lost Bulger and I've got my first playoff game this week. I can pick up Chandler, but he sucks. Carson Palmer is available as is Brian Greise. The league I am in gives pts for yardage, completes, and TDs. It also gives -pts for interceptions. So...Griese or Palmer.....or Chandler? gbird958
I think if Bledsoe is available you go with him.
darin3
Is Collins available? 598708[/snapback] I personally wouldn't recommend Collins this week, but he certainly has been halfway decent the past few weeks. Atlanta's D has been pretty decent and will be fired up to make up for their debacle against the Bucs. I would say you go with Griese if you want a certain 225 yards and 1-2 scores. If you wanna roll the dice a bit, though, play Palmer. He's certainly "en fuego" and NE's secondary isn't all that great and is banged up. And you gotta expect the Bungles will be down all day, so that means Palmer will be throwing to keep up. Just cross your fingers that he doesn't throw too many picks. ShortCircuit
I would go with Palmer...He seems hot right now and I think he can score against New England.
bent520
roll the dice with palmer. at worst they will be playing from behind and have to throw the ball like last week.
Mooker Man
Palmer has big upside, but can also hurt you. Griese will be the steady performer of the group you listed. I would go with Griese.
Skrappy1
Since you noted this is the first playoff week, that to me means you are looking on a weekly basis now. For this week, I'd go with Griese. He has been pretty consistent and has the better matchup over Palmer. Griese vs. San Diego (27th againt the pass) Palmer vs. New England (15th against the pass, and also run a lot of defensive sets that can confuse many QBs, especially rookies like Palmer) Edited December 10, 2004 by Skrappy1
