Playoff Moves

Hi all. Setting my roster for the playoffs (wks 15 and 16) and I have a dilemma I need your help with.

I'm carrying two tight ends at the moment. One of them seems to be having trouble with his new coach ... Randy McMichael. His production has also tailed off. Both he and Shockey (my other TE) have tough match ups in week 15, round one for playoffs. If I make it to week 16, Shockey has a good match up.

Question #1: do I drop McMichael and pick up Todd Heap, who has a good match up for week 15 (vs. Indy)?

Question #2: Burleson seems to be tanking recently with Moss kinda coming back. Should I drop him and pick up the H... guy from Cincy?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

i also own mcmicheal and i'm looking fo a better te today as well ,if heap is there go get him and drop mcmicheal, cbs sportsline is reporting that mcmicheal is going to be blocking more now so good bye production :D

as for burelson, i think if you can get that guy in cincy do it, at least he is the second option in cincy now and between burelson, robinson, cambell and moss , there are just to many of them and with wiggins catching alot, to many guys to keep happy.

Two hard questions, but here's a few things to mull over.

McMicheal's been slowing down, but Heap is a risk. He could be good, he could still be hurting. Then again, since you have Shockey as a backup, it's probably a risk you can afford to take. I'd say do it, but know it's a bit of a risk.

as for H, well, consider that Min has pretty good matchups that week, in the division there aren't that great Ds (except Chicago) and with Moss not quite up to his old self, Burleson may still have to get a fair amount of looks.

Still, with The CIncy offense rolling, and Housh on fire, you may have to give him a look.

As a McMichael owner myself, yeah I'd look at Heap. I hate to say it but I'm afraid Randy won't do much good in the playoffs, someone already mentioned his blocking more now.

I'd stay with Burleson over H...........sh at Cincy, but that's probably a personal thing. Burleson is a good option and I was burned by starting H.........sh a couple time earlier this year. Plus, if Moss aggravates his injury you don't want someone else being able to snag Burleson, he's proven what he can do.

I'm not convinced that Heap will be a factor again this year and would not cut loose of either McMichael or Shockey for him. Shockey's value has dropped since Eli started and apparently Shockey has to play max protect.

TJ is too inconsistent for my likings ... of course so is Burleson ... that's when you consider matchups and Cincy's aren't very good

I don't think that it matters which one you drop to pick up Heap. With the 2 that you are carrying, why not take a chance on Heap?

As for your other question, it appears that Palmer is playing well, and has Cincy performing at probably the highest level they have all year. The only way that I would keep Burleson is if you get points for return yardage, as he has some value in that department.
