Just listened to Martz press conference today. S Jackson and M Faulk will not practice until Friday, but Martz expects Harris to start at this point, but that Jackson and Faulk should both be available. Great :D nothing like a RRRBC situation for first round of the Fantasy Playoffs. Mostly talked about Chandler.

For the moment, Arlen Harris is the starting Rams running back. Freshly signed Aveion Cason is his replacement as the kickoff returner.

Rookie running back Steven Jackson rested his swollen and bruised knee at practice Wednesday. And Marshall Faulk is still resting his bruised knee after sitting out Sunday’s victory over the 49ers.

Coach Mike Martz figures both Jackson and Faulk could be ready to play at Carolina on Sunday, but he’ll know more later in the week.

“It’s hard to start (Jackson) if he doesn’t practice,” Martz said. “I think he’ll be ready on Sunday. I’d like to get him some (practice) Friday and maybe a little tomorrow."

Reading between the lines...if Jackson practices Friday with no set backs...he starts.

Is Arlen Harris going to keep Kick Return duties?  Or is McDonald going to take over?

FBInjuries is reporting that Martz has named Arlen Harris starting RB this week, with Marshall Faulk backing him up. Steven Jackson has not been able to practice at all this week.

Sorry, no link- rules are rules.....

According to ESPN's John Clayton, Arlen Harris will get the start at RB for the St. Louis Rams on Sunday.

Marshall Faulk will be available and quite possibly Steven Jackson as well, so you should temper your enthusiasm. Still, those struggling for a starting RB this late in the season may want to consider Harris.
