SeductiveNun
With Dorsey back at the helm for San Fran, the 3 week Brandon Lloyd experiment is now offically over for me. As stated, this is a TD only league, and these are the guys I'm debating over to add to my roster. There is no mandatory TE requirement, we need to start 3 WRs/TEs. My other 3 guys on the roster already are Gates, Shockey, and Wiggins. Here is who I have thinkng about adding: Eddie Kennison - outside of Gonzo, he seems to get more opportunities in the passing game than Morton. He has 4 TDs on the season. Michael Clayton - #1 recieiving threat in Tampa, with an off week last week. He only has 3 TDs this season, and I worry that Jurevicius will steal more down the stretch. Antonio Bryant - Stepping up with 4 TDs in his last 2 games, giving him a total of 4 TDs all year. He has a tough matchup with Buffalo though, and I'm very leery from a fantasy football perspective of anyone in a Cleveland Brown uniform. Todd Heap - Finally returning for Baltimore. He has produced decent TD numbers in the past, and now that it appears he's back to playing every down, I'm thinking this could be a nice pickup. Chris Cooley - If for no other reason than to hear the rest of my league say in unison "Who the **** is that?" He does have 5 TDs this year, and is targeted in the red zone often. My gut tells me go with Kennison for the safer play, but I am too intrigued with the potential of Heap, as well as with the way under the radar status of Cooley (who does have more TDs than the others on my list as well). Any advice and/or opinions are welcome and will be appreciated. Thanks.
darin3
Kennison. MNF against the Terrible Titans without Samari Rolle. Looks like a winner. Clayton: Don't let the off week fool ya or scare ya off. San Diego's secondary can be scored upon, and has some injury concerns. Griese will look to him, and they'll be throwing a bit to keep up with the high-octane Bolt offense. Bryant: I hear ya on being leery about starting Browns, but you gotta figure they'll be down early and will be forced to throw. Heap: Not yet. Cooley: Um, no. Just no. So, looks like it's Bryant (iffy), Clayton (maybe) or Kennison (looks good). Best one is Kennison, in my estimation.
