i'm in need of a 3# wr.

i'm in 1st(9-4) and the other team is in 5th(5-8)he must win to make playoffs.

he's playing the 4th place team and he also wants jones.

i have been offered d.jackson and w.green for k.jones and m.clayton.

he has no use for either player you must start 2rb's and 3wr's

his wr's:a.johnson,m.harrison,j.horn,d.jackson

his rb's:c.martin,f.taylor,r.dourghns,r.johnson,w.green

my wr's are:d.mason,c.johnson,m.clayton,r.curry,n.burleson,d.givens,and

t. pinkston.

my rb's are: s.alexander,e.james,k.jones,and d.rnodes.

if i was to accept this trade i would pickup morris and strong from sea.

d.jackson is a upgrade over clayton but is it a big enough upgrade to

make the trade?

thanks for the advice i will answer your post.

Clayton hasn't done much lately and Seattle seems to have their passing offense clicking now that Rice is playing a bigger role in the offfense. K Jones had a huge game the other day but I do not anticiapte that continuing since Harrington sucks and they will focus on stopping Jones. The only thing to worry about is Jackson and his dropsies.

Your team is set at Rb and this would make you very strong at WR now as well. I would make the trade

I wouldn't advise giving up a RB before the playoffs.  They are who will carry you through.

backups.

they are the one's who will lead me through the playoffs.

tough call, but take a look at Jones' matchups in the coming weeks . . . I'm pretty sure he's got MIN and CHIin weeks 15 & 16. That's 2 of the worst rush Ds in the NFL. That said, I think moving one of your RBs for an upgrade at WR would definitely be beneficial for your team. If I were you, I'd shop Edge and see if I could get an elite WR (TO or the like) for him. He's got BAL and SD in weeks 15 & 16. He's a stud, but those are 2 of the best run Ds around.

I dunno. I don't like it with Hasslebeck being gimpy. I think that could affect Jackson's value.

Plus, giving away Jones and getting Green doesn't work for me either. The Browns bite. I'd rather have the insurance of Jones at RB. I think on any given week, Clayton could deliver as nicely as Jackson.

My two cents: Just say no.

I wouldn't do it. I agree that Clayton is just as capable of scoring as DJax, and William Green is a throw away. You could be selling Jones right before he takes off and Seattle is on the brink of a nervous breakdown as a team.

I don't like it. You are not getting enough IMO.

I have already answered your post on this matter...

Instead of posting a new thread, why don't you just bump the previous one up to the top to get some fresh advice.

My previous advice stands.

I wouldn't do the trade either, here's my reasoning.

Although Clayton had a down game last week, I still think that as a #3 WR for your team, he'll be just fine. Until last week, he has been very consistent and reliable. Mason, C.J., and Clayton is a pretty good trio to have.

The other reason is I don't advise giving up Kevin Jones, a starting RB who is playing much better now, for someone like William Green. True, you indicated that you would have the backups to your studs, but ponder this situation. One of your studs gets hurt, but isn't declared out. You have the dreaded game time decision, and it's no guarantee that if he starts, he even finishes. At this point, why gamble on the hit or miss aspect there when you can go with a very capable RB in Kevin Jones? William Green I would not want to rely on in the playoffs.

Whatever you decide though, good luck in your playoffs.
