darin3
Alright, I know... alot of crap out there. I have one WR/RB slot and one WR/TE slot. I'm thinking the WR/RB slot should be filled by a RB, notably Dunn. I'm thinking the WR/TE slot should go to Boldin, as SF's D STINKS. But Evans has been hot. Never know what Burleson can do, and we get points for the kick-return game. Hicks is now starting, but does that warrant starting him over Dunn? How about Croom? SF stinks! Does that mean I start him over Dunn? I'm probably over-coaching. Should stick with Dunn at Flex-1 and choose between Boldin and Evans at the second flex. I could, however, choose BOTH Boldin and Evans and bench Dunn. Anyone have any opinions??? I will most definitely answer your posts if you'd like. ACK! This is just the tail end of my roster. My big guns are Brees, LT, TO, Rudi and Andre Johnson. Don't you fret. Just trying to maximize the point potential. Steelhead
I like Dunn and Burleson. Culpepper should toss a couple and Nate should get one. I haven't heard anything about Boldin to make me want to start him even if he's playing SF
darin3
Not that The Huddle's predictions are the Word of God (no offense, dmd) ... but they have Boldin at grabbing 100 yards worth of passes and scoring once. They have Burleson at 70 and no scores. They have Evans scoring once and catching 80 yards worth. That being said (without points for receptions), Boldin gets me 21 points (bonus for hitting 100 yards). Evans would be 15 points, and Burleson 7. And for poops and giggles, Dunn is projected at 90 total and 1 TD, which translates into 16 points. Now, we get one point per reception, and points (albeit small) for return yards. Does that change anyone's minds? Thanks all!
Grits and Shins
I agree that is a nasty choice to make ... I think the easy choice is that Boldin is a good start against a horrible SF team. Burleson has dropped off the face of the earth and the Minnesota offense seems to be stalled. I'd personally not want to start any Buffalo WR not named Moulds ... and I suspect we are going to see the McGahee show anyway. I'm not thrilled about Hicks or Croom ... 2 sub-par RBs on bad defenses ... it is possible to hit a HR with one of them ... but more likely you will pick the wrong one and they will lay an egg. So by the process of elimination that brings us to Dunn. Started the year great but has been mediocre since. Oakland is not a great team and I'd go with Dunn hoping for him to catch some balls and score a TD.
1badfish
That is a tough call but I narrowed it down to Dunn and Burleson. I think I would go with Burleson this week. Sea has struggled in all areas lately while giving up plenty of pts. Moss has shown he can't be counted on yet so I would look for a well rounded offence with Buleson achieving a score and 70 yds. This is just my speculation of course. Dunn is the other viable option. I am sure he will produce but it's hard to say how much with Vick's capability and Duckett sneaking in there from time to time. Boldin is an unreliable option considering the QB BS as of late in Arizona. Good luck in the playoffs. whodey
Darin, Your rules are much different than my league so I kind of changed my mind once you explained them. I like Dunn and Evans. Good luck.
SeductiveNun
Definately go with Dunn. I don't know Maurice Hicks from Skip Hicks, but I do know that Dorsey only hastens the death of the SF offense. For your WR, Burleson is the better choice in my opinion, and if you're looking for a starter out of that bunch this week, I'd go with Nate. As much as I like Boldin's potential, nothing in the AZ offense has indicated he will fulfill that this year. I've been burned to often by the #2 WR option in Buffalo the last couple years. Personally I tend to avoid that situation now, so I really can't give you any good advice on Evans. Sorry.
JET FAN
I'm used to picking thru crap. It seems my last flex slot is always like this. I'd say Dunn and Boldin. You might try Evans if not Boldin since Evans has been hot lately, but definitely use Dunn. I also just picked up Evans and I'm thinking of using him in leiu of Santana Moss (1 catch for 6 yards with the return of pennington last week). What do you think? Rovers
I hit the wrong guy..... I am playing Boldin in the FFTOC playoffs. Great matchup, McCown the stated starter.... Boldin gets his first, and maybe second TD's of the year, at home, against the putrid SF pass D. Not to mention, Croom isnt about to anchor any TD drives, but SF sucks so bad.... Boldin! Ben-waa
I'm not sold on Dunn...between Duckett taking all of the carries at the stripe, and Vick scrambling all over kingdom come...who knows how much is left from week to week??? He hasn't scored since week 8, and 2 out of the 4 weeks, he faced NO and NYG....come on. I would take my chances on Hicks at RB. He has looked good in the action we have seen him in so far. He has averaged over 5 ypc in 3 out of the 4 games he has seen action in. With SF squaring off against Ari, he should perform well while carrying the load. Onto your choices at WR. The interesting factor here is that you get points for return yards. After factoring all of that in, I would go with the hot Evans. Bledsoe has performed well overall since the emergence of Willis. This should continue against Cleveland when they visit Buffalo at home. Good Luck in the playoffs...and thanks for always answering posts out here on the board.
