Chad
First I need a QB I need 1 Carr vs Colts Pennington vs Steelers Rothlisberger vs Jets and I need 2 RBs from Onterrio Smith vs Seahawks Chester Taylor vs Giants Deuce McAllister at Cowboys Thomas Jones at Jaguars I don;t know where to go on QB and I am leaning toward OSmith and Chester this week but it is hard to sit Deuce. thanks chad
darin3
Process of elimination for the QBs. First, some numbers. 20 completions. When you think of that, what do you think... yards-wise? 250 yards? At least 225? Well, with Pennington, it means you get 150 yards. That's the West Coast Offense. Deal with it. And expect more of the same against a staunch Pitt D. Now, on to Roethlisberger. Against a tough Jets D. Figure he'll be good for his standard 180-200 yards and 1 (maybe 2) TDs. That leaves Carr. Sure, he's been up and down. But hey, he's facing the Colts, so you KNOW he'll HAVE to be throwing alot to keep up. I think Houston will have something to prove after getting shellacked back in Week 10. Carr should yield 250-275 yards and 2 scores. As for your RBs, you can eliminate Jones. The A-Train should be getting more carries, and the matchup stinks anyways. Out of the remaining three, only one is a true stud, but I think he's the guy you sit. Deuce can't get rollin' unless the Saints offense is ticking; which it's not. I think you play Smith (hey if McGahee and J. Jones can run wild on the Hawks, why not Smith). And I think you put Taylor out there (assuming Lewis is out this week) against a pretty lousy Giant D. Please, to all reading/responding to this post, see my post/poll re: Flex issues. SeductiveNun
I gotta agree too. Carr is a no-brainer. While I do think Deuce is far more capable of putting up bigger numbers than Smith, he just doesn't get the chances with the Saints as bad as they are. Taylor and Smith it is. Ben-waa
I agree with all of Darin's choices. The only thing that he said that I can't agree with is calling Deuce a stud. Has he been watching the same games that I have? Deuce is a STUD no more. Everything else is right on, though. Ben
