SpinalTapp
I have a bye this week, ensuring I am in the final four next week. Unfortunately for me, in Week 15, I face a situation - My QB is Peyton and my DST is the Ravens. I am pretty sure Peyton will shred the Ravens D at home. With that said, I do not want to start the Ravens D in this critical playoff matchup. Currently, I have the Falcons DST on my bench. Here are my options; Start Panthers vs Falcons (in Atlanta) Start Falcons vs Panthers (In Atlanta) Start Rams vs Cardinals (in Arizona) Start Texans vs Bears (in Chicago) Defenses accumulate points by holding opponents yards and points as low as possible + building junk points for fumbles (2 pts), ints (2pts), sacks (1 point) and scoring TD (6 points). Which D would you start and why? Thanks for your help.
Ben-waa
That is a tough call...both plays are at the top of the rankings in their respective positions. I usually don't recommend this, but you might just want to start both. At least the points from 1 will offset the other in most situations...If Manning throws an INT for a TD, you only lose 2 from Peyton...you gain 2 for the INT for Bal, and 6 for the TD. It's a tough call...I probably wouldn't play Bal...I'm just not excited AT ALL about your other options listed. Is there anybody else on the WW? claymation
I guess I would play Carolina vs. Atlanta. Carolina is really playing well now and they have had the tendancy to make the big defense plays that get you points. I don't think Atlanta's offense is very good either. Go with Carolina. You should be fine. Please see my post
