Plummer VS. Palmer

Basic yardage & TD league.

Plummer and Palmer have gone opposite directions lately. Do you make the switch now from Plummer to Palmer. Playoffs are coming next week and I must choose which horse (or donkey in this case) to ride.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Well do you want upside or little potential but solid stats? Plummer is not going to throw for 300+ or more than 2 TDs in a game, in my opinion, for the remainder of the season.

Plummer:

Miami - won't need to throw, Miami's run D is not good... secondary is still somewhat solid

KC - terrible pass D, should be a shootout. Good start.

Tenn - decent pass D, will Rolle be back? Sunday night game, could be big.

Indy - big game, should have to pass alot to keep up.

Palmer:

NE - tough matchup on paper, but hey, he'll have to throw to keep up. Plus NE's secondary is banged up.

Buffalo - tough matchup. But again, will he have to throw to keep up?

Giants - no real problem here. Could put up decent numbers.

Philly - will Philly have anything to play for here? If not, could be a nice game for Palmer, showing that he's "the man" for next season.

So, if you MUST pick ONE to ride for the remainder of the playoffs, I personally would go with Plummer, as he's a bit safer, and yet still has a bit of upside, especially with 3 out of his final 4 matchups being great matchups. Palmer does have a bit MORE upside, but is facing some decent defenses.

Hope that helps!
