Monsters Of The Midway
0.1 points per rushing/receiving yard 6.0 points per TD 0.5 points per reception Derrick Blaylock (sharing carries with LJ) @ Tennessee Titans Michael Pittman @ San Diego Chargers I'm thinking Pittman. What do you all think?
darin3
Oh you know me and Mr. Blaylock and Mr. Pittman. Barf. I haven't jumped on either one of those bandwagons all season (not saying you having them is a bad thing - they're both pretty solid). But hey, Pittman seems to always be involved in the offense, despite the score, despite how well the opposing D is stuffing the run. San Diego presents a pretty solid challenge, but figure Pittman will still compile around 100 total yards. The whole Blaylock/LJ thing would scare me, if I owned either one of those fellas. Word on the street is that Blaylock's gonna start, and LJ will spell him and Vermiel will continue to use the more effective back. Hmmmm... Well, it's MNF, and it's the Titans. I think you might want to just roll the dice a bit and throw Blaylock out there. If you prefer to play it safe, stick Pittman in there and cross your fingers that he miraculously crosses the goal line.
Men In Tights
I agree with what darin said, but I would play it safe and start Pittman because you know he will always be on the field.
giantsfan
I think I'd go Pittman, but what puzzles me are the huddle projections on Blaylock. 100 and a TD. Now I'm not saying it isn't possible, who knows, but even though Blaylock will start I am under the impression LJ will play clearly, and could basically split. But the Huddle's projections have Blaylock as the clear starter. LJ is projeted at 20. Am I missing something.
Creaper
Tennessee and San Diego have given up the same amount of rushing TD's this year. The Titans have allowed 460 more yards rushing though. If Blaylock is going to be the man on Monday night, I'd go with him. Especially with all the injuries on the Tennessee D. If not, Pittman is a safe play with an equal chance at seeing the endzone and virtually no competition for PT.
