Men In Tights
From the projections and even see him as a sleeper in the weekly six pack. I also believe this guy is a potential stud but he never puts up any numbers. I know he is nursing an injury but I keep falling into the same trap. Roy is playing a weak pass defense, they will need to throw, etc... and he never steps up. This is more of a rant than anything, but what do others think about Roy Williams and his potential to put up any type of numbers in the most important fantasy football playoffs? SNOWBOUND33
He's been killing me! Every week looks good and the ankle is "fine", but then 46yds.o tds.
Takeoffhoser
I'm in the exact same boat. I picked up Lee Evans, Buff off the waiver wires and am playing him instead. As soon as I do, Roy Williams will probably go off - but he hasn't scored a TD since Week 7 and Lee has scored three TD's in the past two weeks. Phat Rugby
I have had the same dillema. He did have an OK week last week and should have had 2 TDs in the Turkey Day game so he may go off, but until he does go with other options if you have them. SNOWBOUND33
I can't wait.I need him big this week against the packers. Or do I sit him and start J.Smith against the Bears or Chambers against the Broncos?

I would probably go with J Smith as Chambers will draw Bailey. Just like was said earlier, the week you don't start him is the week he goes off. Chambers and Smith are going to get a lot of attention from the Ds. Roy should have a decent game. The Lions are going to be behind and the snowy conditions seem to help the passing game and make the ankle injury a little less obvious without the hard cuts. Please see my post. giantsfan
Now for my weekly comments on Roy. He has had 2 good games all year and they were WAY back in Sept. He is very talented and will be a stud, but right now he is an average WR. Plus he has no # 2 WR next to him, and a bad QB throwing to him. Can he do well against the bad GB D? Yes, but I wouldn't count on it.
