AtomicCEO
Winning is better than money. ... at least it is in my favorite player's minds.
Chargerz
He obviously wanted to stay a Bill. Good move for him,IMO.
LegFuJohnson
"While terms of the negotiations were not available, Moulds will likely receive just as much money this year, but his cap figure would go down significantly because the money would get spread out, for cap purposes, for more seasons. " How is this any different than any other player that gets his contract re-negotiated? Reading the above posts I would have thought he voluntarily gave up millions to stay in Buffalo or something. That's all I was saying.
AtomicCEO
Even if he's still making the same money, he helped the team be able to sign better players by restructuring. I think that's a classy move, even if it didn't require much sacrifice. Edited February 10, 2005 by AtomicCEO
Guest Sarge
I'm thinking if I'm told to restrucure or leave that I'd probably restructure. What's classy about that?

Would you mind if we pushed some of your money out so that you can screw us on the cap a few years from now instead? Thanks, you're a swell guy." Pancake
Moulds is getting paid WAY above his market value right now. I just cant figure the guy out. He's not that elite WR that everybody was thinking him to be back in 2002. He's just mediocre unless there is a decent #2 WR to take some heat off of him. CaptainHook
This happens every year on every team. It's called a "simple restructuring." Basically it goes like this: GM:"How 'bout we give you most of your salary right now in a lump sum?" Player: "Sure." GM: "Great. This is a loophole that gives us more cap space." Player: "Where's my check?" Edited February 11, 2005 by CaptainHook

Now that could be due to Bledsoe who sucks...........
