smithkt
These guys are on crack. The Giants are going to use their first pick (2nd round) to select a kicker? I don't think so. Edited February 10, 2005 by smithkt
godtomsatan
So, I know nothing about college football or the NFL draft, but I just decided that I am going to publish a mock draft within one week of the actual NFL draft, just to prove these guys are pulling poo out their dingdang. smithkt
After what all they traded for Eli - anything is possible 692730[/snapback] Time will tell if they gave up too much for a possible franchise QB. This in no way compares to the ludicrous prediction of selecting a kicker with the first pick they have. They have far too many other needs to take this seriously. Menudo
Steelers won't need a CB because they are going to land Ty Law.

He just does not seem a good leader to me. Edited February 10, 2005 by Duchess Jack
forever in debt to mo lewis
The Patriots taking a white receiver converted from quarterback, in the 2nd round??? haha I dunno bout that one...doubt it
Men In Tights
if Hawthorne from Wisconsin somehow falls to GB in the 2nd round they don't pass on him. I also don't see GB selecting another CB in the first round of another draft.
NAUgrad
No way Denver drafts a TE in the 1st round. Their needs are all defense!!!
CaptainHook
Colts will trade down. They always do when they are that late in the order. . .

Dr. Rock
Aaron Rodgers falls to 8? Giants pick a kicker with their first pick? Yeah.. I could see that happening
Seahawks21
Seattle taking a WR?? Not taking a LB in the first two rounds??? The chances of these happening are slim and none.
wolfden1
The guys who did this mock obviuosly play FF, and are not real NFL "expurts"...just can't see 4 of the top 5 drafted as skill position players (7 of the top 10?) It's too deep a draft at those positions for teams w/ needs to take all of those guys so high. Edited February 12, 2005 by wolfden1

MikesVikes
Just heard on ESPN that Madison Square Garden may not host the draft. It could either be another NY site or Philadelphia. Philadelphia is where every Eagle opponent player tells their relatives to stay home or watch out. Yes this would be an excellent choice! Chief Dick
I don't see KC drafting a DE in the first round either. They need linebackers and corners before defensive line help.
Pope Flick
The Bears will trade down. They're too cheap to pay a 4th pick the correct $$$.

Janikowski Round 1 Lechler round 2. With the Giants kicking and special teams problems the last few years, I can see it. Nugent is a freak! I watched him play last year and he is absolutely the best kicker I have ever seen! When he played us here at NC. State, we had only 1 opportunity to field a kick all day. He kicked every kick-off way out of the end-zone and made every field goal, (I think 6) drilled kicks from way over 50 yards, with one kick from over 50 which went clean OVER the entire GOAL POST! Freaking kid is by far the best kicker I have ever seen. He alone will be worth 3 victories a year with that bionic, lazer accurate leg. Just my $.02 Edited February 12, 2005 by gspot
seminoles
why do the eagles need a DT in the 2nd round. they have simon and walker plus a good backup, cant his remember name.

Usually you see 4-5 RBs projected in the first round and it seems that come draft day they start to slide on down until you get 2 RBs picked in the 2nd half of round 1.
