CaP'N GRuNGe
Mike Williams or Derrick Johnson? Would love to trade down one spot to AZ. Still rumors out there of a swap involving Boldin and Bennett. Could that come into play here?

spain
Williams is the obvious selection, but lets face it: Mike Tice is not the sharpest tool in the shed. The real question is whether the Queens will get their selection in on time..
trrhyne
After all of their FA moves on defense, this one goes offense, Mike Williams defi
Bengal Mania
I predict Minn doesn't get their pick in on time. So with pick #7, Arizona selects the next best RB.
Fatman
Although it sounds odd, I could see the Vikes taking a true franchise back in Cedric Benson to go with their new defesnse, to set up the PA passing game. That being said, I bet they take Williams.
dread
I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vikes take Benson...but it has to be Mike Williams.

policyvote
It would not surprise me at all if Minnesota trades either Onterrio or Bennett. 744327[/snapback] I gotta think they're going to move Bennett at whatever price they can get, but they don't want to roll with Onterrio "Substance Abuse Suspension" Smith. Benson makes sense to me, especially since they seem committed to becoming what they haven't been in ages--a smash-mouth football team that can control the clock when it counts. T-Scorp
If Johnson, Benson, Williams are still there the Vikings would be wetting their collective pants!!! My hope would be Johnson as he could be a Ray Lewis type LB and with the moves we've made on defense Cottrell would have a top 10 defense very soon. Williams is also a great pick at this point as he could be Moss' replacement and would ease the pain of losing Randy. Benson is a franchise type RB that the Vikings haven't had since Chuck Foreman. Tice is in love with the idea of a grind'em out offense and a tough defense. Of course this would predicate them trading Bennett or Smith. If Benson is there and Denny really wants him could the Vikings get an extra pick out of AZ to drop one spot and still take Williams or Johnson??
