kennyg71
12-team keeper league rosters consist of 2-QB 4-RB 6-WR 2-K and starting 1-QB 2-RB 3-WR 1-K. points 6 for all TD and 1/50 passing and 1/20 Rushing/Receiving I will need to drop to 7 before we draft in early September. So a lot will not be decided until then. Here is my roster from last year. Good enough to finish last at 4-10 QB Palmer, Hasselbeck RB Portis, Jordan, M. Morris, R. Williams (I had Bennett, Suggs and Wheatley I dropped them thinking of this years sleepers) WR Ward, C. Johnson, S. Moss, McCareins, K. Robinson, R Woods K Carney, Brien My first year in fantasy football I took over the last place team and drafted Bennett with the first pick over Tomlinson and have been haunted with that pick ever since. I finally dropped Bennett last year after having kept him every year since 2001. So I don’t make another bad choice what rookie running back should I draft? I have the 1st pick. I want the guy who will have the best NFL career. I am looking hard at Benson.

Brown sure seems like he has the most talent, however CHicago is up and coming and IMO will be a good team for quite a while and Benson should fit the Lovie system well. IMO you should take Benson, I think Miami will be in the shatter for many years.
BS Miscreant
I think this is a rare year in that 4 very good RBs are going to situations in which they are likely to excel this year and/or through the long haul so picking one is certainly no lock. All that said, I like Caddy. Gruden has a man-crush on him and he hand picked him, having coached him at the Senior Bowl, to fit his offensive scheme. Adam Schefter(sp?) from NFL total access is already saying, based upon being at Bucs camp, seeing Williams practice and speaking to teammates and coaches, Carnell appears poised for a big year this year. I'm not in a dynasty but am in a keep 5 league and, like you, earned the right to pick first this year. My first pick will be Carnell Williams. Ralph Furley
You gotta go with Benson. I'm not saying that because I'm a homer, but Chicago has always loved to run the ball. T. Jones is obviously not the RB the coaches wanted. To spend that high of a pick on Benson when they already had their "back of the future" in Jones says a lot to me. He will be the man before the season starts. Look at the career numbers he put up in college. He's going to be good!!!
Chargerz
I can't argue against taking Benson or Williams, but don't forget Arrington in Arizona. He steps into a starting role there, and could be a great keeper for years to come.
Adrenaline
I'd take Williams because I can't read the future & he seems to be in the best position right now. I'll tell you what I've read on the net about these RBs so far, if anyone has more up to date info please share. Brown is on a sh!tty team & there is a chance of Williams coming back, stealing carries. Benson isn't guarenteed the starting job, even if he does win it he'll give up carries to Jones. Arrington is the starter but the bigger Ship will get goaline carries. Williams has impressed so far & not much has been said about Pittman, at the most he'll be a 3rd down type back or line up at receiver ocassionally. I have them Williams Arrington Benson Brown for this year.
