I am in a keeper league. I kept no players and had picks 1,2,3,6,10 and 14. I then had every 10th selection(24,34...)

 

I made a trade of the 3rd pick, 94th pick, 104th pick for the 13th pick, 30th pick, and the 60th pick.

ARTICLE 11

OFFENCE STYLES

 

Three styles of offence are allowed to give the owner more coaching freedom. These are the Run & Shoot, Wish-Bone, and the Pro Set Offence.

 

All styles of offence have one quarterback, and one place kicker. The difference comes in the number of running backs and receivers allowed.

 

The Run & Shoot has one running back and four receivers. The Wish-Bone has three running backs and two receivers. The Pro Set Offence has two running backs and three receivers.

 

Here is the scoring except that there was a rule change

 

There is one point for each 10 yards, Rushin, Rec. and Passing.

ARTICLE 10

SCORING METHOD

 

The following is the format that is used and the amount of points that are scored for each scoring play.

 

TOUCHDOWNS

Any touchdown will be scored as six points.

 

TOUCHDOWN PASSES

Any touchdown pass will be scored as four points.

 

FIELD GOALS

A field goal scored from less then 50 yards will be worth three points. A field goal scored from 50 yards or greater will be worth six points.

 

TWO POINT CONVERSION

A two-point conversion scored by a player at any position will be worth two points. Rushing, receiving, or passing can score this conversion.

 

It is possible for a franchise to score four points from the same conversion, if they start the player that throws the ball and the player that scores the conversion.

 

SAFETIES

A safety scored by any of your players will be worth two points.

 

EXTRA POINTS

An extra point scored will be scored as one point.

I don't care for the deal.

 

With the depleted talent pool after everyone else has kept players, that 3 pick was A LOT MORE valuable than the 13th pick, definitely more valuable than moving up to be able to add the 30th player and 60th player after 10 teams kept up to 3 players each then have had 29 additional players taken off the board.

 

I guess seeing if you can get a decent player at the 30 and 60 is worth the drop from Andre Johnson to the guy you get at 13 will be the final determination.

I took the trade because I know that the guy I traded with is taking S. Jackson and K. Collins and the other guy to pick before me wants a QB.

I have to agree. I do not see where you have gained anything at all in the trade. Of course it sounds as if you believe you will get Andre Johnson anyway. If you do, its a good roll of the dice. But it sure looks risky. Let us know how it comes out.
