Jules_Winfield
Looking at the projected stats I see Owens, MArvin and Moss (in that order) all producing within a few total points of each other for the season . (3 to be exact) Yet in the "top 120" Moss is 12 and Marvin is 28????????? Question: in a 12 man league, 6 pts for all td's and 20yds for rushing or receiving yards, where do you rank these 3? I'm thinking mid second behind my top RB2's like Rudi Jamal and Tiki (also in that order) even though the stats predict a few (again less than 10) more total points for the wr's. (I wouldnt do it in the first round but every year someone does it). I think Moss and Owens will go by the mid 2nd round and go before Harrison. Depending on your draft slot you may be able to go rb-rb-wr and get Harrison in the early 3rd round. I think some people will shy away from Harrison because of the attention Wayne got last season. westvirginia
Well, I disagree with your rankings some. Starting there, I don't think Lewis is that low at all. I have him mid-first. I also have Chad up there with Harrison, right below Moss and Owens I think the reason you're seeing Harrison down lower (correctly, IMO) is that his age, coupled with the "only so many balls to go around" in that offense. It's not that I'd be surprised if Harrison finished with 105-1450-15, it's just that there seems to be more risk in his situation than with TO or Moss, where they are CLEARLY the most talented receiving option on their respective teams. Like Max said though, somebody in a 12-man league will go WR-WR or Manning/Owens (likely someone w/picks 9-12) and Moss will be gone too. I'd place Owens and Moss just under the mid-point of the tier-2 RBs, say 10-14 overall depending on your scoring system. I'd also say with your 6-pt passing TD's Manning moves up to my #3 player. Lucky Jack
My board has: Moss, TO, Chad, Holt...then Harrison...I see him going in the later 3rd round to someone w/ two tier-two RBs...and no other option (unless they're tempted by Walker)...
