Who do I pick?

I have the next pick at 5.03 and another at 5.12--Flex starters from 1 QB, 1-3 RB's, 1-3 WR's, 1-3 TE's 1 DST, 1 K...performance scoring (QB's 4 pts for Passing TD)...here is my roster:

QB's--Favre-Green-Hasselback

 

RB's--Staley-Barlow-Toefield-Larry Johnson

 

WR's--Michael Clayton-Coles--Lelie

 

TE's--Dallas Clark-McMichael-Heap

 

Running backs were hit heavy and hard! I got old Priest and my dilemma is (already read other post on Holmes-Johnson drafting) do I wait till 5.12 to get Johnson...draft a TE--(leaning towards Clark) (grab Duce and then Johnson and wait for WR- TE till later???? Please advise and I am on the clock!!

I would not be thinking about a TE now, nor a QB as there isn't much difference in the 3 you posted, at RB your in good shape and i'd wait another round or two to handcuff Holmes, i think i'd grab a WR now. Clayton appears to be heading for pro bowls soon, so he'd be my choice.

I'd grab Clayton too. You'd just hate to see someone else grab LJ before you had a chance.

Any thoughts on 5.12 if I go WR at 5.03....maybe TE or QB or should I handcuff Holmes then?????

yeah, i would handcuff priest pretty soon. if you get johnson, you are guaranteed a stud back all year even if priest goes down. the problem is that you need a wide receiver pretty bad. i would still grab lj and then go wide receiver with the next pick.
