Which Team Would You Rather Have?

Recommended Posts

Scoring rules included at end of post

Team 1

McNabb (1.10)

C.Mart (2.3)

Benson or Arrington/Williams/Brown (3.10)

Suggs (keeper)

JWalker (keeper)

Calico (5th round - I traded away my 4th round pick last year)

Heap (keeper)

Kicker (who cares)

Ravens D (keeper)

TEAM 2

A.Brooks (5th round)

A.Green (1.10)

Barber (2.3)

Suggs (keeper)

J.Walker (keeper)

D.Mason (3.10)

Heap (keeper)

Kicker (who cares)

Ravens D (keeper)

While I give up a lot by reaching for McNabb in the first round, I truly believe he is worth 25 pts per game (250 yds passing; 2 tds; 30 yds rush). If this projection is right, he will be worth about 10 pts per game, on average, better than the next tier guy available - which is Hasselback or Vick (all other QBs are keepers - Favre, Brady, Green, Bulger, etc). If I do not reach for McNabb, I am left with Hasselback, Vick, or Brooks - if they are even available late in the 3rd round - which I doubt because all owners start with four keepers from last year.

FYI..other RBs keepers already OFF the table include: W.McGahee, J.Jones, S.Jackson, T.Bell, L.Jordan, D.Foster, K.Jones, C.Brown, W.Dunn, L.Toefield, M.Bennett, R.Williams, D.Staley

Other WR keepers OFF table include: A.Johnson, M.Clayton, D.Branch, I.Bruce, D.Bennett, R.Williams, L.Fitzgerald, R.Wayne, D.Jax, A.Boldin, C.Rogers, A.Lelie, J.Porter, and C.Chambers to name a few..

There will be slim pickins once we hit the middle of the third round in this draft...

I think team 1 is a higher risk, but also higher reward team.

Which team would you rather have? Other thoughts or advice?
