AoNrDaYnAge
I traded Jamal Lewis, Keyshaun Johnson, Amani Toomer for Michael Clayton, Ahman Green, and Deion Branch...How did I do? Branch will be on my bench... Also, how do you think Ahman will do this year? He wasn't THAT good last year as he continued his fumbling problems and didn't really score too many TDs either... Sorry about that...didn't mean to post this twice Edited July 18, 2005 by AoNrDaYnAge
Adrenaline
If one of the WRs you traded away was a starter I like the trade.
max
I think Lewis is going to have a huge year this season. I think you downgraded you RB here. Branch and toomer are a push IMO. Clayton is an upgrade over Meshaun. That being said I think there is a bigger drop from Lewis to Green than the upgrade of Meshaun to Clayton. I would have kept things as is. If you wanted to get Clayton or a WR equal to Clayton I think you may have had other trade options while at the same time keeping Lewis. Without seeing both rosters it is only speculation though. My starting lineup before the trade: Peyton Trent Green LT Edgerrin Jamal Lewis Eddie Kennison Stokley Keyshaun Jimmy Smith Dallas Clark Colts DST Jeff Reed and after... Peyton Trent Green LT Edgerrin Ahman Kennison Stokley Mike Clayton Jimmy Smith Clark COlts Reed How do you think Ahman will do this year? Better than last year? But my thinking was that if Ahman can put together a good year it should make up some of the difference between him and Lewis while there is no doubt Clayton is an upgrade at WR. In my league it seems like everyone hates Ahman for some reason which is why I'm worried if he will put together a good year or not.
AoNrDaYnAge
How in the world did you have Manning, LT, Edge and Lewis on the same roster??? 882781[/snapback] Haha it is a keeper league and last year I pretty much traded all my average to above average players for studs like LT Manning, Jamal, and DOnovan but in the offseason I traded Donovan and a pick for Edge. Last year I won the league but my best player other than those 4 was probably Deion Branch!
boat_hacked
not knowing your scoring, IMO I'd try to upgrade your WRs. find a team weak at RB and see if you could trade. Overall, like your team but would work to improve the WRs. Plus having 4 players from 1 team can be a feast/famine. Mostly, a feast last year . The problem with that is I wouldn't have a backup RB for my bye weeks but like you said I do need some help at WR. I'm thinking I could try to deal Bennett and a WR like Jimmy Smith for a better WR...what kind of value do you think I could get for those two or do you think I should just keep Bennett so I have a RB for my bye weeks? Also, my scoring is H2H scoring with 1 pt per 5 rushing or recieving yds and 2 pts per 25 pyds. Also we get 12 pts for a Rushing or recieving TD and 10 for a passing TD. Also, the longer the TDs the more pts, there are bonuses. Edited July 18, 2005 by AoNrDaYnAge
