If your not comfortable with 1 try trading for some extra picks. There's always somebody willing to give something extra up for LT or Manning. You're almost guaranteed a very good RB (Lewis, Davis, even McGahee) and will be able to get a solid RB on the turn -- or in some leagues, a Moss or Owens type of WR. The RBs go fast, so you get the best one on the board, but then usually can get another decent starter and a Chad Johnson\Torry Holt on the turn. Bier Meister Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 i would have advised you to take a 4,5, or 6. however this year imo...... 2 players stand out against their peers and having the 1 or 2 pick (manning or LT) could be a big difference maker. plus you will still have 24 and 25 (so 3 of top 25 players) where you are seeing less drop off at wr. you will be more thin at rb if you go manning. if you go lt you can still get a decent qb if you choose to go that route) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
