darin3
Memphis gets: Bobby Jackson, Raul Lopez, Kirk Snyder and Curtis Borchardt. Jackson will provide punch off the bench, and with Watson outta there, they'll need the additional guard help. Lopez is a decent pass-first PG that could replace Watson's production. Snyder and Borchardt are also-rans, although Snyder has some good offensive game. Borchardt's a stiff. Sacramental gets: Bonzi Wells. Another mental case for the Sacramental Queens. Nice. Not sure how he fits in with the Queens, honestly. Peja all but has the SF spot locked up, although they could switch him to SG and run Wells at SF. Never been a fan of Wells' game, and he's a headcase. Utah gets: Nothing, really. Greg Ostertag? Uhh, not sure why Memphis and Sacramental didn't just swap Jackson and Wells, but perhaps I'm not getting the full story from ESPN (since that NEVER happens...). Suppose Utah's just dumping some salaries and stiffs. Although they're getting the ultimate stiff in Ostertag back. Big winner? Has to be Memphis. Jerry West finally unloaded Wells for a proven gunner in Jackson... and grabbed a few guys - that could potentially could just get cut, but who knows - that could be surprises. seminoles
wait, Utah is getting Greg Ostertag BACK? What the heck. He didnt produce before, what makes them think he is going to produce now? He averages 1 point for every 4 minutes he plays. And about 1 rebound for every 3 and a half minutes. :doah: :doah: :doah: Edited July 22, 2005 by seminoles
