The Stoner
I know I wouldn't touch him unless he was there in the 8th round or higher. Any gamblers out there?
PantherDave
He will be on my board, rather he is a legitimate "sleeper" is in question. I do feel like Saban still feels like he's a top 5 back, and his legs should be fresh(his lungs may be another story), plus Saban will feed him the "rock". Make no question, this is still the Phins starting RB.
loaf
is he the starter? I thought he was toast for the first 4 games at least...does he come back and take over the featured back role in Week 5?
Dr. Sacrebleu
In a keeper league, he is defintiely a little more valuable and worth the risk. After all drfting an RB in the 6th round that could prove to be a valuable commodity in the future is worth the loss of that late round pick
PantherDave
Well, to clarify, it's my opinion/educated guess. He will have to sit out the first four games( keeps him even fresher till week 5), but will be able to play in the PS games. My gut just say's if Saban wanted him back, and it was evidently Saban's call from what I've gleaned, he's going to play him. Then again we could be looking at RBBC in Miami-who knows???? The Ricky Williams saga continues.................
Big John
I kept Ricky in a dynasty league just in case. Needless to say, i got the first pikks in this years rookie draft and selected Ronnie Brown. So my former feature player becomes my handcuff.
PantherDave
Big John-why not the "Cadillac", as it appears "Chucky" going to force feed him the ball in TB?

broncosn05
Definetely Ricky is a horse I see a 1,000 yard season but since he is a person of debate I'll let him slide to the midlate rounds.
polksalet
I believe he and the great Dayne will put up comparable numbers this year. I will be leaning hard on them in 32h.
DMD
Williams will be suspended for the first 4 games and has not played since 2003. In the interim, he was busy getting stoned around the world and losing a serious amount of weight. He had no heart to continue to play until he discovered he owed million in advance money and would be bankrupt. I would not touch him in any draft because the chance that someone else will want him more is 100%. I think it is folly to expect anything like he was before. I think it would be ludicrous for the Dolphins to use him for anything more than a mere relief player in the new offense that RW has never played in before. Wizards
IMO it Ricky gets the 4 game suspension...when he does come back(if they do not plan to trade him)...it will depend on how Ronnie boy has done in the first 4 games on how much PT he gets...when he gets back if the Phins are 2-2 or better, they will work him in slowly so as not to upset any chemistry or balance..if Brown is not getting it done to Saban's liking (i.e. Brown takes a while to adjust to the plays and NFL speed--remember he was a back up in college)..Ricky can get alot of PT...all hinges on his physical condition..Brown's progress and the team's chemistry without him....this IMO is no longer Ricky's team and he will have to earn his stripes back...Brown and Ricky long term...could become one of the best 1-2 punches at RB in the NFL...that's down the road---"IF" they keep him!!!! Fenokee
The Dolphins BYE is in Week 4. That leaves Ricky sitting on the bench for the first 5 weeks of the season. Doesn't leave Miami much room to showcase Ricky before the trade deadline......if that's even an option to management.
Ruffian
I know I wouldn't touch him unless he was there in the 8th round or higher. Any gamblers out there? 892980[/snapback] I'm with you on that. I know someone will take a flyer on him--it just won't be me.
