Plus he's never been a model of consistent play.  People want to pile on Miami for getting rid of talent, but really seems one these guys do an OK job they get over hyped for it because they came from Miami.  Reality is different.  Drake is not a feature back, Tannehill has more peaks and valleys than the Rockies, Tunsil is only a slightly above average Tackle (maybe).  About the only questionable trade was Minkah but with the conflict between him and the organization can't be upset about it happening.

I just find it funny because going into the last two seasons all fans were saying is how devoid of talent Miami is.  Now someone will have one good game on another team and everybody is like "Look at all the talent Miami gave away!"  Ok then...

Yeah there were years and years of evidence that Tannehill wasnt the answer in Miami. We had guys like Vontae Davis and Sean Smith who had better spells elsewhere but people remember the successes rather than the failures. Like we didn't pay Pouncey before he signed with the Chargers where he's been largely poor and the haul for Tunsil/Stills was great business.

The Phins never figured out what they wanted Minkah's role to be, didnt surprise me that he shined elsewhere.

  2. Tannehill was always capable with a decent supporting cast to help him out. The issue in Miami was he only had that on a couple of occasions and injury robbed him of the one playoff run Miami had in his time (when Matt Moore got killed in Pittsburgh).

  3. Im always very risk averse with someone who trends all week to being out then is active. Too much risk unless you have literally no options to replace him with.

Frustrating though in a good matchup.
