  1. Thanks for the advice last week--it really paid off starting Freeman. Got a new one for you this week: Standard scoring H2H 10 team league. Trying to figure out who to start among the guys below. Hyde, Nelson, and Williams seem like solid starts. Freeman is shaky with Coleman back in it stealing TDs and facing a very tough KC defense against the run (they've given up no TDs to RBs since week 4). My gut says to start RB1 Carlos Hyde RB2 Devonta Freeman WR1 Jordy Nelson (definite start) WR2 Tyrell Williams Which leaves my FLEX spot down to either Devontae Booker vs. Jacksonville or Davante Adams vs. Houston. A bit of a conundrum for Adams as I already have Nelson in the lineup for GB BUT my opposing team has Aaron Rodgers as his starting QB (and Rodgers is currently listed as Questionable for tomorrow). If Rodgers sits, I figure it's gotta be Booker over Adams, but assuming Rodgers plays it increases Adams' potential considerably. I need to win to secure 1st place headed into the playoffs. A loss will possibly drop me to 2nd in the final "regular season" week. Unfortunately, this is also D. Murray's bye week, which kind of screws me since he's pretty much irreplaceable. Thanks again for your help and for your advice all season!

  3. I'm in a 10-team standard scoring league, currently hanging on to 1st place by 0.5 game and reeling from the loss of Green. Fortunately, I've got some great backup options, but I'm having trouble deciding the most suitable replacements. Here's my lineup: QB Matt Ryan RB Demarco Murray RB Carlos Hyde WR Jordy Nelson WR TE Antonio Gates FLEX D/ST Arizona (Pittsburgh this week) K Dustin Hopkins So here are my options to fill the WR and FLEX spots: Devontae Booker Rishard Matthews Devonta Freeman Davonte Adams Tyrell Williams My gut says Matthews has definitely earned a start at WR with his hot streak recently. But for the FLEX spot, I'm really sketchy about starting Freeman at this point, especially if Coleman returns this week. Adams has had some great games but seems to be reverting to his norm after a quiet game last week. Booker is very streaky but is facing a weak KC run defense this week. Tyrell Williams has been hot and is coming off a bye, so there's some upside potential, but he's also facing the Texans' secondary. I know the choice of Booker/Freeman/Williams/Adams is a total crapshoot, but curious to know who everybody else would take a gamble on in Week 12. Thanks in advance!

  5. Thanks, agreed on Murray and Freeman. But you must be confusing Hyde with someone on the Bills roster, because he's always been with the 49ers.
  6. Thanks again! That's how I had my roster set already, but I was getting cold feet. It definitely helps to know it doesn't sound outlandish to switch it up that much. Good luck in your league!
  7. Thank you very much! So I assume you'd bench Freeman altogether, but would you go with Hyde or Benjamin for the flex slot?
  8. I'm in a 10 team head-to-head points league with 2 RB and a Flex slot. My 2 WR slots are set with AJ Green and Jordy Nelson, who I consider to be must-starts. As for the RB and flex spots, I'm in a quandary. My choices are: Devonta Freeman, DeMarco Murray, DeAngelo Williams, and Carlos Hyde. I also have Travis Benjamin on my bench, and he should get quite a boost this week after Keenan Allen's injury. Given Freeman's questionable RB1 or RB2 status going into the week, and questions about whether Hyde can maintain his production into Week 2, the only one of the group that I feel is a must-start is DeAngelo Williams since he's got the most to lose and the hottest game right now. DeMarco Murray makes a great case as well. But I hate the idea of benching Freeman. Benjamin is a total gamble to put up top numbers, even though he's got a good chance to become the top receiving option, so I'm not as uncomfortable leaving him benched at least until he proves himself. Am I crazy to bench Freeman and/or Hyde going into Week 2? Does Murray deserve a starting slot? Who would be your top 3 choices for 2xRB/Flex? Thank you for any advice!
