"The idea of cutting Domanick has not even played a factor," Kubiak said. "I don’t know where that came from." Unless the team decides to use a roster spot to wait on Davis' troublesome knee, he'll likely be placed in IR. We’re going to try to set something up for gameday to sit down with Domanick, with our trainers, doctors and maybe his agent. I don’t know. That was me saying that it was my plan, but there’s no meeting yet on Thursday. It might happen Friday. The decision is strictly about Domanick’s knee and whether he’s going to be able to play football this season and whether it’s going to be ready to go.
