Even in his last two difficult games he's averaged 250 yards and a touchdown. The problem isn't Warner, it's the poor protection from the offensive line. That will be a continued problem this week facing an aggressive Atlanta front. Still, with the weapons at his disposal he'll get it done for his owners." A rose given any name is still a rose. However, in the NFL, once someone has a name, his performance gets overlooked. Warner was 0-6 in his last six games as a hobble-handed Rams starter - and the Rams had a darn good O-Line. He was benched by the NY Giants with a 5-4 record, because he turned the ball over more than he threw TD passes, and because he was a sitting duck in the pocket, and because the Giants organization determined that just about anybody could accomplish what Warner was accomplishing there (like Eli Manning). He is now 3-10 as a Cardinals starter. In his last 28 starts, his record is 8-20. In his last 32 games played in, he has thrown only 28 TDs, while being intercepted 29 times and losing 16 of his 43 fumbles, a turnover to TD ratio of 1.73 to 1. Now, if this was a quarterback with any other name, would you be ranking him S2, and would you be blaming offensive lines, or would you be dogging him and writing that it's only a matter of time before he's riding the pine?
