Directv charging $20 each for local channels

I'm tired of calling to have them say reset my receivers, but has anyone ever heard if this? ON ONE OF MY LOCAL CHANNELS i GET DISNEY AND 4 SAY i HAVE TO PAY $20 BECAUSE IT'S PER PER VIEW.

 

Has anyone ever heard of this? I have reset my receivers completely 3 times and it's still the same. I think I'm switching to Dish Network.

Last night I had some crazy crap happen. I lost all my locals, but I was getting HBO and Showtime (which I never ordered). Then I lost HBO and Showtime, but also lost all my HD channels. About an hour later, I had my locals back, but as of today for some reason I still have HBO and Showtime. They're a bunch of damn idiots; I've had nothing but problems (including a $570 first bill from screw-ups) -- but I stick up with them so I can watch football.

Sounds like me. Now I'm getting Starz on a local channels and most of my locals say show no longer available. If I can they'll reset it but aI need to get someone out here the fix this mess.

 

I hate calling because they make me go through all the resetting I do before I even call. They treat everyone like they've never done this before.

Yeah, I hate calling in as well. I realigned my dish myself, did all the stupid receiver resets, and finally bit the bullet and called in twice for support... both times I got DirecTV en Espanol support, so I gave up... eventually it sorta fixed itself... and I'm still getting some extra channels, so I won't complain... hey, free boxing!
