dfv87
In my 3 leagues I play in, I squeaked into the playoffs in 1 league as the last seed #6 of 12 teams. Of course I am playing for the Title next week vs the #3 seed. Top 2 seeds out... 3 vs 6 for title In another I won the regular season (12 teams) and got a bye in the 1st round only to get bounced by the #5 seed this week. The #2 seed also got bounced by lower seed... 3 vs 5 for title Last league (Buddy league) made playoffs (6 of 10 do) as 4 seed and lost to 5 seed who bounced #2 seed and #6 seed bounced #1 seed by a ton thanks to Andre Johnson (ppr) ....5 vs 6 for title. Anyway my point is that this year in all of my leagues the "best" 2 teams have all been taken out, something I cannot recall happening to this extent. MTSuper7
I'd much rather have a #6 seed that I think is built with players ready to expose juicy matchups. The problem with a lot of the #1 and #2 seeds of the world is that they sit on a guy like Tony Romo all season then wonder why he sucks playing outdoors in week 14 against the #1 defense in the NFL (Pittsburgh). It's the savvy owner that looks at the playoff schedule and makes trades and roster moves to be in prime position to make a run. Last season saw a lot of people coast through the regular season with Brady / Moss and not much else. Many of those teams lost during the crappy weather game vs. Miami in week 15 last year. I always laughed at people who said that those guys were untradeable. Everyone is tradeable...
