Tweet this news item! Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman (thumb) initially injured his right thumb during an accident at a firing range Oct. 31, in which he required five stitches. The team was previously saying he suffered a sprained thumb Oct. 23. The stitches were taken out a week later. Tampa Bay said Freeman did not violate his contract by firing a weapon. He hasn't worn a protective wrap on his thumb in the last two games. Huddle Up: We know some fantasy owners who fired a weapon at their TVs while watching Bucs games this year.
