bostonsoxandy
So something like my start and sit list? The list has bold predictions. Incorporate those bold type of predictions into other posts? Yeah, I mean you are just starting off so you can't really expect to hit your stride right away. The reason people go to a journalism program in college is because they are really able to find out who they are as a writer and what they are good at since they write EVERY DAY. Just write every day on your blog, and figure out what works for you, I wouldn't really worry much at all about public opinion or other people, just write for yourself at this point. Once you really figure out that it's easy from there.
do94nbpt
Just posted a review of how my advice stacked up with fantasy numbers this week. Thought I had a solid week of advice. Let me know what you think.
bostonsoxandy
Little things like word choice are important..in your review you used the word "hopefully" four times, utilize a thesaurus. Also try to take first and second person [especially second person] out of your blog entries, it makes it sound stronger and more confident: in the last post the word "I" was used 15 times, "you" or "your" was used 10 times, and "we" was used once. Another sidenote, try not to apologize for mistakes. Say that you were wrong and move on if you want to do a recap thing, the accountability is nice, but if you are whiffing on ~60% of your picks you may want to rethink the idea of accountability -- if you stay around 50% success, that's pretty much guessing. Just keep posting and it'll keep getting better.

I did not think my rankings and start/sit lists were too off. I was successful in the Kolb, Ridley, V-Jax, M. Lewis picks on my start/sit. I don't think many others had Kolb and Lewis while some others may not have had Ridley. V-Jax was more obvious this week against a weak WAS passing defense.
