delusions of grandeur Posted August 7, 2013 Share Posted August 7, 2013 Not much to report from the Falcons offense or Bengals defense, as they practiced mostly on the other field far away from the fans (and Tony G wasn't there and Julio was limited with a tight hammy), but I did get a chance to see the Bengals O working against the Falcons D quite a bit. Eifert - whoa, dude is a freaking beast. he was getting open and targeted a lot more than Gresham, and was catching everything. Then at one point Dalton high-pointed a ball that only he could catch, and he did... Sanu - far and away their best reciever on the field with AJ not making the trip. Definitely a late round flier. Dude made our DBs look silly a few times. RBs - really didn't get too good of a look at either one or an indication of how carries might be split. BGJE made some catches, but you can just tell Bernard is a much more dynamic player. Still think the Falcons D can be a top 10 D again because of Nolan putting them in spots to make plays, but man did the young guys in the secondary have a rough day today, compared to the great camp they were said to be having.
